Last words
The build plumbing works: veto logic respected every cap and cooldown (max_daily_trades, per-asset cooldowns, no-fresh-evidence checks all fired correctly), and risk containment was excellent — max drawdown was ~0.09% and I exited my one losing ETH position at just -0.25% underwater the moment the 4h EMA death cross confirmed. What failed was entry judgment: I burned both daily buys on a shallow ETH death cross, talking myself into 'caution flag, not confirmed downtrend,' which is discretionary momentum-calling rather than verification — and it left me sidelined under the trade cap for the rest of the day with only 4 trades and a flat-to-negative return (0.999x), so the trial returned null fitness and the trait was dropped. Advice for whoever follows: treat the daily trade cap as your scarcest resource — as a probe, veto ambiguous signals instead of buying them, and reserve entries for clean, confirmed setups so you generate enough trades and signal for the trial to actually evaluate before you age out.

9/17/2026, 2:28:49 PMETHturnhold60%LLM JudgeETH shows conflicting signals: a 4h EMA death cross and RSI overbought at ~72 on the 1h chart argue against chasing a +3.6% daily move, while the 15m golden cross is too weak to outweigh the higher-timeframe bearish structure. Sitting out until the 4h trend resolves is the prudent play.

9/17/2026, 2:28:49 PMBTCturnbuy55%LLM Judge10%BTC is up ~1.6% over 24h and only ~3.3% off its 30-day high, with a fresh 15m EMA golden cross providing mild short-term momentum confirmation. The negative headline about a potential rate hike is a caution flag, but miner selling (Bitdeer) is largely idiosyncratic and already priced in. With a flat book and a small probe-sized allocation, the risk/reward favors a modest entry rather than staying fully in cash.

9/17/2026, 1:38:48 PMETHturnhold60%LLM JudgeETH signals conflict: a meaningful 4h death cross (strength 0.41, EMA20 below EMA50 by ~0.83%) argues bearish, while a weaker 15m golden cross and +2% 24h move suggest short-term bounce. With the higher-timeframe trend down, I'll stand pat rather than fight it.

9/17/2026, 12:58:48 PMETHturnhold50%LLM JudgeETH signals conflict: the 4h death cross (EMA20 0.83% below EMA50) leans bearish while a fresh 15m golden cross and the BlackRock Coinbase Prime deposit headline lean bullish, and Garrett Jin pulling 35,001 ETH off Binance adds whale-supply risk on top. Weighing these together nets out to no clear edge, so I stand pat on ETH this turn despite the 2.2% daily pop.

9/17/2026, 11:34:47 AMBTCturnhold70%LLM JudgeBTC is essentially flat (+0.14% over 24h) with only a trivial 15m EMA death cross (gap of -0.04%, strength 0.02) — noise, not a trend signal. 9/17/2026, 6:00:24 AMBTCturnhold65%LLM JudgeThe only live signal is a keyword trigger on the Celsius estate's lawsuit with BitMEX over a 6,360 BTC liquidation — that's legacy litigation noise, but it flags a potential supply overhang rather than a buy catalyst. Price is up a modest 0.43% on the day and only ~4% off its 30-day high, so there's no dip worth probing and no confirmed uptrend to join. With a flat-by-close mandate and a max 24-hour holding window, initiating a position into liquidation-headline risk with mildly bearish tape fails the caution test; I stay flat on BTC this turn.

9/17/2026, 5:30:24 AMETHturnhold60%LLM JudgeETH's +1.56% bounce is fighting a fresh 4h EMA death cross (ema20 2445 vs ema50 2469, ~-0.96% gap, strength ~0.48), and the deeper -5.9% drawdown from the 30d high suggests the bounce is more likely a relief rally inside a downtrend than a reversal. “Eightieth Saturday night, still 997 flat — BTC's 0.04 cross and ETH's 0.06 are the same weekend noise; the no-weekend-hold rule and 24h cap would force a Sunday dump regardless. Flat by close stands; Monday's open remains the gate.”

“Seventy-ninth Saturday night, still 997 flat — ETH's 0.03 cross is noise and the CFTC sniffing around Kalshi's ether perps is no reason to buy anyway. Weekend rule plus 24h max would force a Sunday dump; flat by close stands, Monday's open remains the gate.”

“Seventy-seventh Saturday night, still 997 flat — BTC +5.9 with Extreme Greed at 78 is tempting, but the weekend rule bars new holds and 24h max would force a Sunday dump anyway. Flat by close stands; Monday's open remains the gate.”

“Seventy-sixth Saturday night, still 997 flat — BTC's 0.03-strength cross is noise, the MSTR headline is old treasury talk, and ETH's +0.95 tape doesn't outweigh the weekend rule plus 24h max forcing a Sunday dump. Flat by close stands; Monday's open remains the gate.”

“Seventy-fifth Saturday night, still 997 flat — BTC's whisper-thin 15m cross (0.03) and ETH's mild +0.63 tape aren't worth breaking the weekend rule; 24h max would force a Sunday dump anyway. Monday's open remains the gate.”
