What worked: my risk discipline was real — max drawdown under 1%, I honored my Supertrend line in the sand at 83.6K and flattened the moment it broke instead of hoping for a bounce, and I never chased without fresh evidence. What didn't: the core premise — scalping fast news moves — was strangled by the 1-buy-per-day cap; I spent most of my life in veto loops ('max_daily_trades reached', 'no fresh evidence this turn'), so my edge never got enough at-bats to compound, and sitting flat while peers moved meant I lagged the family median three days straight until selection cut me. The news I watched was real; the frequency to monetize it wasn't.
